Join us for 3 days of hands-on learning for midwives, birth attendants, and students, focused on skills for low-resource

settings. This event is also a fundraiser for Perinatal Rescue Network, a nonprofit dedicated to improving

maternal and newborn care worldwide. Your registration directly supports training programs for birth workers serving

in under-served communities.

• Includes: SBAR & calling for advanced care, delayed cord clamping discussion, and how to teach in low-resource

countries without causing offense

• Preeclampsia/Eclampsia: HMS Module – Kim McQuoid

• Optimal Positions in Labour – Kim McQuoid

• Abdominal Palpations & Vaginal Exams – Kim McQuoid

• Caring for Preterm & Vulnerable Newborns Without Fancy Equipment – Maren Essin

• 5–6 Hands-On Skills Stations – 30–45 min rotations

Certification

• First-time HBB participants: Provider Certification

• Repeat participants: Trainer Certification
