Helping Babies Breathe Canada August 2020

A small group of three midwives completed the Helping Babies Breathe course in Alberta, Canada. To minimize risk of COVID exposure the class was kept small and held in home––on a dairy farm in fact! All participants have been involved in cross-cultural work and some plan to continue. It was a great time of refining and practicing their neonatal resuscitation skills, but also a good introduction to how this course can be taught in limited resource settings to impact the communities they plan to work in.
